JARS UNVEILS NEW VIDEO

In addition to keeping a steady presence on the road, Jars of Clay earned international headlines this week when debuting its brand-new music video on Yahoo!. “Two Hands” is the single for which the clip was filmed, featuring footage of the band performing the tune intertwined with its recent missions-oriented journey to Africa. MUTE MATH SNEAK PEEK

Buzz continues to build for Mute Math’s sophomore CD, Armistice (out August 18 on Teleprompt/Warner Bros.), but faithful fans won’t have to wait that long to hear new tunes. The band is launching a Mobile Listening Party, which is basically a stereo on wheels (via a tour bus) that allows fans to step on for a sneak peek from July 6 through street date. NATHAN LEE’S NASHVILLE RESIDENCY

Singer/songwriter Nathan Lee is one of Nashville’s rising stars, but aside from hoping to make a bigger splash on the music industry map, his latest venture is also geared around raising funds for the less fortunate. In support of his current collection, Risk Everything, he’ll kick off a six-week residency at 12th & Porter from July 5-August 9. All proceeds from the shows will benefit World Vision, particularly providing clean water to less fortunate communities in Africa.

PROJECT 86 HITS THE ROAD

In support of its upcoming album, Picket Fence Cartel (landing via Tooth & Nail on July 14), Project 86 is hitting the touring trail alongside some very familiar faces. The hardcore mainstays will tag team with rising heavy hitters Haste the Day and The Chariot, kicking off this weekend and running through early August.
